I don't know the details but according to him, he was going freeway speed and his brakes started to lock up and smoke. When he managed to stop the car, the brakes (or something in that area) started on fire. Fortunetely, the fire was put out in time and no more damage was done. He said it had something to do with the brake lines or the ABS actuator stuff which is located behind that little cut-out square behind the passanger seat. You may want to double check that so you don't mess up your new brakes.
